Pre-Concert:

Korean cassies = ALL SORTS OF AWESOMENESS!!!!!
the fan goods were really really cute. There were fanclubs handing out alot of stuff with the 5 on it.
One that especially struck me was this card that said “TVXQ, last point of my fan life” I just thought that pretty summed up how important TVXQ was to them.

There were some groups handing out invitations to TVXQ anniversary parties & etc..
Then there were this group of really cute cassies, i believed they’ve made an appearance before.. they wore masks with all the 5 members’ faces and walked around lol. It was really cute and entertaining cause people were pretending to scream when they see them and even took photos with them! haha really cute.

My friend and I were holding TVXQ fan-made goods in our hands in the shape of fans (to beat the summer heat) and everytime cassies will approach us and give us more free fangoods stuff once they see that you’re holding something tvxq-related in your arms. It felt really heartwarming and you feel like you’re truly a part of Cassiopeia….you’ll get something of almost all the members..all 5 of them (:

Concert:

The wait was so crazy but we’ve waited so long so what’s almost 6 hours of waiting right? (; and it was so freaking hell worth it. During the wait, we were all getting restless. Cassies are awesome, they cheered really loud for ALL sme artistes at the start and the toll of waiting for HoMin to appear eventually made all of us really really restless. Imagine all of the sme artistes singing almost all of their songs and no sign of HoMin at all…only twice in this commercial thingy shown on the big screen which of course cassies screamed like CRAZY (: Anyway for myself i was really getting kinda restless and even kinda scared like what if HoMin doesn’t appear? I’ll burn sme down. And every now and then cassies will sing and cheer and shout for TVXQ. It was so loud you can’t ignore it and the black ocean – people in the green field kept looking up waiting for the red ocean…so that we’ll turn on our red lights as well. My friend and I were holding TVXQ red lightsticks too and we too, waited together with other cassies in the green zones. There were cassies from all over the world and we all waited together…waiting to join the red ocean when they light up (: we were all waiting waiting waiting for THAT moment.

That moment came.
& everyone went NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The screams were AMAZING!!!
& THE ENTIRE AUDIENCE STOOD UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(You’re not really allowed to stand all the time in the green field, there’s people there asking you to sit down and such and most perfs people just sit down and watch so it was kinda a big deal lol and the entire audience stood up during the ENTIRE PERF and just screamed madly!!! Nobody bothered to ask anyone to sit down LOL xD)

Their entrance was like the entrance during mirotic concert (hey! don’t bring me down)
lol Changmin came down from my side(my bias is changminnie yay! ) and he was dangling from that thing like how he did during hey!..lol
screams screams screams!!!!!!
The atmosphere was really AMAZING.
CASSIOPEIA like CAME ALIVE and WALA~~~~ RED OCEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (;
So there was this technical fault at first..
haha and Changmin’s expression was like so badass when he & Yunho signalled to the technician to cut the music. hehe hawtness (; It was really professional.
and you can see AND sense their professionalism towards performing.
So the stage went black for a few seconds and the music was fixed!!!!
THE PERFORMANCE WAS OMG IT TOTALLY BLEW ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a mixture and cuts from their SMP songs and it was cut really nicely that they pulled it off really really well.
Changminnie’s live screams = LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
And his dancing improved like ALOT.

Their performance was definitely 200%!!!! I’m really not bias!!! Their performance was easily the best of the show.
Be it the stage, the energy, the performance. Everything. They’re just THERE. at this crazy level of performance that you can’t help but feel so PROUD to be their fan and screaming your lungs out causw YES they’re THAT talented and THAT HAWT. (:
Yunho was also really really crazy with the hotness.
They both did a SOLO. MINNIE DID THE DANCE PIECE TOO. like WOW. haha i was like so impressed. his dancing improved ALOOOOOOT!!!
And he was overflowing with confidence and charisma. He’s like all “yeah im badass & hawt and i’m gonna blow you guys away with my great changminess” [very sorry that im so greatly changmin biased lol xD He was sucha beast!]
His expressions were so s*xy….if he gets anymore hotter he’s going to be illegal. xD

The next thing i remembered was superjunior singing some rock version of dont don and changmin SUDDENLY APPEARED. AND i didn’t immediately recognize him BECAUSE i was thinking : who’s that guy wearing barely-a-shirt aka strips of cloth-that-exposes-70%-of-his-chest-but-he’s-so-hawt. (Cause he never worn anything like that lol xD It was more of a “jaejoong” outfit hehe cause jaejoong loves to show his skin]

Then i realised the screams were SO LOUD and OMG IT”S SHIM CHANGMIN!!!!! HEHEHEHE Not acting shy anymore HUH (: Yeah..so i kinda went crazy!!!!!!!!
He has been working out and wooooo the results…wooooo…fangirl *glomps and chomps* DDDDDDDDD
And he belted out high notes effortlessly (: his voice improved too. More control and MORE powerful.
It was just mindblowing to hear him sing like that.
And then!!! I think after another perf..HoMin FINALLY SPEAKS!!!
(: lol changmin’s voice was kinda low due to all the highnotes..haha but he still sounded s*xy and stuff..
and they introduced themselves as DONG BANG SHIN GI!!!
and yes Cassies went CRAZY once more!!!!

They said some stuff and cassies were being so attentive and answering to them with loud “NE”s or screams and it was really really heartwarming and i dunno i really really felt like crying at that moment. You can feel that Cassiopeia IS really always there for them and somehow will always be there…and the love between cassies and tvxq is undeniable. It’s an amazing connection and i can say that every single cassie there CAN feel it (: They looked really really happy to see the cassies and to be performing again and i felt happy to see them like that (: Saranghae Saranghae Sarangae! That was what cassies kept chanting (:

After that was smtown songs. I LOVE the cameraman!!!! He kept following HOMIN. haha and SCREAMS erupted every time (: During sm town lol it was esp easy to look out for homin cause simply, their sm town shirts were cut the largest at the sides..so basically u can see alot of their skin..*yummmm!* Homin stuck together alot during the sm town songs..OH! LOADS of KYUMIN!!!! (: Kyuhyun even piggybacked changmin!!! Haha it was hilarious and changminnie looks SOOOOOO happy. Both of them looked really really happy and cassies were also really really happy. It was worth it and everything, every restless thought vanished once they appeared from the top of jamsil stadium lol.

I screamed my lungs out.

Watching homin perform their hearts out on stage, owning that stage and tearing it down with their raw passion, talent and all sorts of awesomeness..
you’re suddenly reminded again of WHY you love them and WHY you’re a fan.

(I’m sorry if my acct of a-nation’s shorter xD haha i’m minnie bias-ed! But i tried my best to get my friend who is a jaejoong fan to recall everything that happened! haha so here it is!)

We reached Osaka, threw our luggages at our hotel and hurried to a-nation’s venue (: On the way there we saw many japanese fans on the subway.. it’s really easy to recognize them because they’re all carrying Bigeast/Tohoshinki merchandise!!!

The atmosphere there was really awesome!!! most of the fan goods were already sold out haha but we managed to get the uchiwas!!! Bigeast are really cute.. almost all of them wore Tohoshinki-related stuff…from t-shirts to hairbands to towels to bags etc…they’re all really excited while waiting for JYJ! Alot of them even modified their own shirts and sew their own outfits that’s dedicated to their fav member…really cool!

Once we entered the stadium my friend was like “Oh now i know why the towels were sold out.” LOL cause the entire stadium was like orange. almost everyone had the JYJ towel ! It was as though we came for a jyj concert (: So we all waited patiently…the summer heat really KILLS but everyone still waited patiently (: During the wait the cameraman flashed to different fans and Tohoshinki fans got the most cheers! hehe once the cameraman panned to a fan holding “always keep the faith” banner and the whole stadium went ohhhhhhh!!!! and applause! really cute (:

& finally!! the COUNTDOWN!!! and *SCREAMMMMMM*!!! hahahaha everyone STOOD UP!!!! just like how everyone did for homin during smtown…and by that time the sun was gone and it was around evening time..so THE RED/ORANGE ocean APPEARED!! hehe all the lightsticks came out and my friend and I joined in with our lightsticks as well!!! hehe it was like woah cause everyone started to countdown together!!! 5,4,3,2,1..SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEHE JYJ appeared!!!!! wheeeee!!!
first song was Itsudatte Kimi Ni and everyone sang along and waved their lightsticks/uchiwas/towels..
hehe all the japanese fans are soooo cute! The singing was really loud!!!!

After the song, they did their self introductions.
Junsu was first.. then after that he started walking backstage and Chunnie was like saying bye and shoo-ing Junsu off stage. then it was Chunnie’s time to introduce himself. his fav “minna okay?!!!” haha everyone screamed OKAY!!! but he wasn’t satisfied. lol and kinda whined along the lines of ‘can’t hear you..’ and he went MINNA OKAY?!!!!!!!!!! again.. so everyone SCREAMED their lungs out “OKAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” and he went minna okay again before he left the stage to Jaejoong lol so he dorkily told Jaejoong byebye and left the stage and Jaejoong was left alone LOL.
It was quite hilarious cause Jaejoong was being all nervous and walking front and back the stage while doing his introduction and ‘small talk’ with the audience..haha after that he went backstage and said JUNSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BAM!!!!!!! INTOXICATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EVERYONE WENT CRAZY!!!!!

japanese fans are in LOOOOOOOOOVE with junsu’s moves!!!

so it was all really HOT!!! and junsu’s being a tease with his jacket.

Then came colours!!! it was nice and soulmate was being retarded and cute LOL
Jaejoong refusing and playing around with Chunnie for that last note in colours..
haha & Chunnie was like giving Jaejoong the “why are you doing this to me” face and “aishhh~~~” but he was smiling big time.. haha it was just cute and yes they finally completed that last note lol!

Junsu came back on stage and they sang Get Ready!!!
HAHA everyone went crazy cause 3 of them were really high and all jumping and running and waving..
haha then there’s parts of the song where everyone will shout “OKAY!” together!
My entire block at the left side of the stage was filled with ALOT of chunnie fans haha
so all of them went crazy when chunnie kept coming over and standing at the very edge of the stage facing our block lol
i think he knew that’s the yoochun fans area too cause he was grinning really widely and he kept coming over cause the screams when he came over were like LOUD.
It was really fun cause chunnie really knows how to work up the crowd. you just can’t help but jump and wave along with him..haha

Then it was long way..and then “W”.
It’s really an undescribable feeling because once they started “W”… all of us gradually stopped waving our lightsticks and just stood still and just listened to them while holding onto the lightsticks. The stadium was in a way “quiet”. It was really well sang and after that everyone just clapped furiously instead of screaming…They said their thanks and their performance was over…

Again, JYJ impressed me with their voices (: they were in good condition and it’s no doubt how much Bigeast loves/adores them. Some cute things we’ve noticed: saw some japanese fans waving uchiwas with the 5 in it, Yoochunnie’s popularity seemed to have exploded in Osaka..lol he got REALLy REALLY LOUD screams that day lol maybe cause of his craziness xD Yoochunnie was exceptionally happy and crazy and jumping all over the place. i think he got a sugar rush or something. hyper much! xD

Anyway after the concert, my friend turned and asked me how I felt watching JYJ since i’m a Changmin fan. I told her i really honestly enjoyed JYJ’s performance. Well i may not have went as crazy as i did for Changmin during SMtown but i can’t deny that i loved JYJ’s performance ALOT and yes their awesome and it’s easy to love them, just for them.

They are TVXQ and will always be TVXQ be it they introduce themselves as TVXQ or their names or whatever because “TVXQ” meant something that cannot be taken away from them.. it made them.. TVXQ is their past, present and future and will always be with them no matter where and how long (: Although yes, my friend and i will always prefer them as 5 but I’m glad to see all 5 of them working hard and doing something that they love alot AND doing great! Be it 3 or 2 or whatever.. they’re doing what they want and love and as a fan, i’ll just be supportive and appreciate their performances cause they sure never disappoint (:

To see them so loved, by korean cassies, by bigeast and by cassies all over the world..
I can see it now, why they’re worth waiting for (:

I had to discard my favorite idol group ‘H.O.T’.
Nowadays, many say, ‘Can’t a fan in her twenties like an idol group?’
But four years ago. Or even before that. Idols were the possession of teenagers.
So when I became twenty years old, I had to discard my uniform and ‘H.O.T’.

A group that has all the needed star qualities and is the climax of teenage fandoms…
They bring the unaccustomed words ‘Nation’s idol’ to us by expanding their fanbase throughout the age groups.

That was the first part of an article included in the HanGyuhreh Newspaper.
That was a sentence in an article about TVXQ.

Even four years ago, for a person in his or her twenties to like idols and buy their albums,
For a person stuck within the limitations of a ‘working man’, who wore army apparel or a suit, to buy idols’ albums,
equated to someone buying ‘pornographic videos’ amongst teenagers…

On one hand, I feel like the world has gotten better, but on the other hand, I’m also bitter.
If had been born a little later, ‘H.O.T’ who filled my memories would not have existed in my teenage life,
but I cannot hide my bitterness.

When they first debuted, they held the title as a group who had as many antis as fans.
They did indeed have as many anti fans as that title implied. But out of all those antis, at least 50% would have become antis, not because of TVXQ,
but because of ‘Cassiopeia’, aren’t I right?

Female celebrities who had the slightest contact with TVXQ were attacked to a level that matched ‘terrorism’.
And as ‘TVXQ’ was created to spread the mass culture to teenagers, there were many low level elementary school fans so
countless mishaps and events must have occurred.

I think that the peak of all of it was when they released their second album.

When they first debuted in 2004, no one could deny the power that they held.
This monopoly was expected as TVXQ, who were dubbed the revival of idol groups, debuted when there were no idol groups active.
(I feel that even if there were other idol groups around at the time, TVXQ would have still won anyway.)

Rookie of the Year Award Grand Slam. And the first artiste after Seotaeji to receive the Rookie of the Year Award and the Main Award.
I remember that antis and the public in general said harsh things about this.
But I also remember that none of these harsh words were sensible.

That just showed that TVXQ’s Anti generation had not opened yet.

And then came their second album in 2005, Rising Sun.

SM says that the fourth album was the best yet, but I believe that TVXQ’s most memorable album is their second album.
Although the song’s beat was so new and fresh that could not be understood without watching the performance,
if the performance was seen as well, it became their best song.

At the time, it was true that their live skills were not the best which got them some criticism.
But isn’t it true that the reason their Anti generation opened was because they began taking on acting roles and reality shows?

At the time, actresses such as ‘Kang Eunbi, Han Yaeseul, Oh Seung Yeon’ acted alongside TVXQ.
And they all received harsh comments from every single Cassiopeia who was there at the time.

After that, it felt as though antis, as well as the public excluding Cassiopeia turned their back on TVXQ…
Because of Cassiopeia.

The second H.O.T, Revival of H.O.T.
No sentence fared well under my scrutiny.
And the arrogant actions of Cassiopeia turned me off of them completely.

But there were times when Cassiopeia look fine (or even pitiful) in my eyes.

Like when Cassiopeia, as well as the members of TVXQ, helped out at the site of the unfortunate oil spill site.

Like when the US Beef Controversy erupted and Cassioepia was the first fanclub to protest and participate in various internet activities.

Like when they would collect all their pocket money together and donate it to those in need under the names of TVXQ members.

Like when they would sacrifice little things in their lives to buy one or two albums to keep TVXQ at the top.

Like when they created ‘DongBang Day’ and bought albums and online music.

Like when they all voted for TVXQ.

Like when they would go to recordings of shows, even when they had to wait in line all night and be treated like dirt, so that they could support TVXQ.

Like when they sent food to the staff of ‘Infinite Challenge’ during their concert because TVXQ liked the show.

There are more things, but I do not know of them as I am not a Cassiopeia.

But I can tell you two things for sure.

That the fan is who makes the singer’s image, and TVXQ’s well-mannered, kind image was shaped, not only by TVXQ,
but by Cassiopeia as well.

And that Cassiopeias give a sacrificial love ten times, no, a hundred times bigger than the love given by any other fanclub.

I see the old club H.O.T in Cassiopeia.
But I also see that Cassiopeia is more sacrificial and devoted than we ever were.

I feel that Cassiopeia loves TVXQ
more than TVXQ thinks of Cassiopeia.

One day, I came across something a Cassiopeia had written. It said,

‘What I fear most is TVXQ’s tears. But what I like most is TVXQ’s tears.’

She said that the tears TVXQ shed from the 2004 rotation rumors were the scariest things she had ever seen.
She vowed to work harder as a Cassiopeia so that they would never shed tears like that.

She also said that the tears they shed when they saw Cassiopeia after receiving an award were the most beautiful things she had ever seen.

‘Gives their all.’

I think those words describe Cassiopeia well.

I heard that it has been five years since TVXQ debuted. I also heard that TVXQ spent more than 50% of those five years abroad.
2 years and 6 months out of 5 years. Cassiopeia, who probably spent even less than that amount of time with TVXQ,
must miss them so.

I heard that only around 100 days were allotted for the fourth album activities.
That was the result of 2 years of waiting.

Cassiopeia matured as they waited for TVXQ,
and gave ‘their all’ to their singer more than any other fanclub had done.

I believe that no other fanclub could do what TVXQ’s fans, Cassiopeia do.

Personally, what surprised me most were the glow stick events at large scale concerts.
I believe that the members were more moved by this event as it was done in the presence of other fandoms.

And then an album that sold over 500,000 copies was released after five years from their debut.

Many idol groups emerged while TVXQ was absent.

The main groups would be ‘Big Bang’, ‘Super Junior’ and ‘SS501′.

Their album sales, especially the album sales of Big Bang, the group considered TVXQ’s rival,
are high for an idol group.
Since they are second when it comes to album sales right under TVXQ.
However, their album sales barely scrape 200,000 copies.

One columnist said this.

“The creation and beginning of idol groups was H.O.T; no one can deny that fact.
However, the end, the climax of idols is TVXQ.”

One music critic said this.

“An idol group who surpassed H.O.T, the first generation idol, debuted and the idol market evolved into the second generation idol market.
That idol group was TVXQ.

However, there has yet to come a third generation idol market.
Unless an idol group that can surpass TVXQ debuts, the third generation idol market will never come for eternity.”

TVXQ is credited for making such a TVXQ,
but Cassiopeia should be recognized for their sacrificial love.

They give their all and are left with only memories of longing.

However, Cassiopeias do not fear this.

I, at 24, envy their courage, and wish I could be like the confident Cassiopeias I see.

Even if the day of parting comes, even if a temporary day of separation comes,
I hope they do not do anything they will regret ‘because they are Cassiopeia.’
